What is Kundalini Yoga?
Kundalini Yoga is a millenary technique that prepares the body for the development of physical, psychic and spiritual energy. It is also called Yoga of awareness and is aimed to cultivate the creative and spiritual potential of the human being, starting a process of discovering one's own identity.
It is a practice of self initiation, transformation and healing.
Who would I recommend it to?
It is suitable for people who want to connect with their breath and body.
To those who want to free themselves from tensions, blockages or who struggle to manage everyday life’s stress.
I recommend it to those who want to awaken their potential and live their everyday life with greater strength and clarity.
Everyone can practice it, regardless of age or experience.
If you have particular physical problems, we will show you some possible alternatives movements and postures.
Why is it needed?
This type of yoga strengthens all the body’s systems quickly, especially the nervous and glandular systems.
It is practiced to train the mind to face the obstacles of life. It can bring a new vision of yourself and of reality.
What differentiates Kundalini Yoga from other Yoga practices?
What differentiates Kundalini Yoga from other Yoga practices is its originality and integration of different branches of yoga
A great emphasis is placed on breathing techniques, sound technology, chanting and meditation.
The classes consist of: warm-up exercises, pranayamas techniques (breathing exercises), a kriya (series of physical and breathing exercises), relaxation and meditation, chosen from time to time according to the needs of the group.
In the Western world, Kundalini Yoga is known thanks to the courage and love of the master S.S.S Yogi Bhajan, who spread this practice to the West in the 60s and 70s. Before that the practice was for centuries only transmitted by some masters to selected students within India.
